Elaine Rivera
Graduate Assistant, Asian Pacific Islander Desi Affairs
"I am a first-year Master’s student in the Student Personnel in Higher Education program at UF. Prior to UF, I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in Neuroscience and spent two years teaching English in Taiwan through the Fulbright Program. In my current role as the APIA Affairs GA, I guide four student ambassadors with program development and event planning, as well as provide support for their personal and professional growth. In my down time, I enjoy traveling, finding new coffee shops, and learning new languages. "
